A little more context
for parents.

Is this an adult BMI calculator?

No. Children’s BMI is interpreted by age in months and sex with WHO reference data. Adult cut-offs are not applied here.

Why is weight-for-age missing for an older child?

WHO weight-for-age reference covers ages 5–10. For older children this tool displays weight as entered and uses BMI-for-age.

Does a result determine the right workout?

No. A growth measurement cannot determine movement ability or select an exercise programme by itself.
