What does the camera need to see?
The participant needs to remain within the view required by the activity. Camera angle, lighting and obstacles can affect the signal; moving farther away is not always better.
Explore the task first
Read or listen to the instructions, then try a few comfortable movements. A parent can explain the goal without pushing a child to move faster or harder for points.
Feedback needs context
A missed response may come from being outside the frame or obscuring the camera. Check the setup before assuming a movement was wrong; a game score is not a health assessment.
