Tracking progress without chasing numbers

Confidence, consistency and understanding instructions are useful things to notice as a family gets comfortable with movement.

AT A GLANCE

  1. 01Exercises completed
  2. 02Session duration
  3. 03Weekly progress

Choose something observable

Note whether your child prepares the space, remembers a sequence or asks for a break. Concrete behaviours make conversations about progress clearer.

Keep notes brief

Use the weekly planner for the activity and one sentence about how it felt. There is no need to record body measurements after every session or rank family members.

Adjust when needed

If the routine becomes stressful, reduce expectations and choose another time. Progress does not require duration or difficulty to increase continuously.
