Reduce backlighting
Avoid a bright window directly behind the participant. Adjust the camera or curtains so the person is not a silhouette, without shining harsh light into their eyes.
Keep the required area visible
Follow the activity's alignment guidance so hands and feet stay visible during movement. Distance depends on the lens and room, so one fixed measurement will not suit every device.
Recheck after repositioning
Try a simple movement after each adjustment. If the person is clearly visible but response remains slow, review performance guidance or technology limits.
Check after trying
Repeat the original action after each change. If the issue remains, note the device, browser, step and message you see before preparing a support request. Do not include passwords or verification codes.
