Adding movement to a short break

After sitting for a while, a pause offers a chance to change position and notice how your body feels. Keep movement simple and comfortable.

Pause the task first

Put down what you are holding, check the floor and stand slowly. You do not need to read a screen while doing a movement that requires attention.

Try a short sequence

You might walk gently around the room, relax your shoulders or reach comfortably. These are general examples, not personalised exercise or rehabilitation.

Return intentionally

Add a useful break time to the weekly planner if it helps. A short pause does not replace broader activity needs, sleep or a suitable working setup.
